Request deletion in the app
- Open Questionnaire of Love and go to Settings.
- Choose account deletion.
- Review the consequences and complete both confirmation stages.
The two-stage process is designed to prevent accidental deletion. A completed deletion ends future access to the paired relationship from that account.
If you cannot access the app
Email support@questionnaireoflove.app from the address associated with your account and state that you want to delete your Questionnaire of Love account. Support will use the information needed to receive, verify, track, and process the request.
What deletion removes
Account deletion removes authored answer bodies and prediction bodies involving the account from the active database, clears associated contextual content, removes notification endpoints and push tokens, anonymizes the retained profile, and ends future relationship access. Deleting a supported answer also prevents its future disclosure.
What may remain
Limited non-content records may remain where needed to preserve record integrity, document deletion processing, prevent stale access, protect the service, or meet legal obligations. These may include internal identifiers, timestamps, lifecycle state, deletion requests, tombstones, and minimized audit events.
Encrypted provider backups may contain prior copies for up to the provider's limited backup window, currently seven days, before normal expiration. Questionnaire of Love does not use retained deletion evidence for advertising or relationship scoring.
Before you delete
Information already disclosed to your partner through a Reveal cannot be made unknown to that person. Technical deletion prevents future service access and disclosure as described above; it cannot make a recipient forget or remove copies they independently recorded.
